Not to be confused with Comcast SportsNet Plus, which will be showing the Cubs while the flagship carries the Bulls game. Big night.

Link to channel run down for SportsNet2 and HD: http://chicago.comcastsportsnet.com/Illinois-Systems.asp

Looks like it's not televised in DeKalb, awesome.

Looks like it's on Channel 14 here. The station's a tad blurry; however, I guess it's better than nothing at all.

You should try to find a local sports bar with the MLB extra innings package. I'm sure they'll be able to pickup the feed.

Why is it the White Sox get pushed to the channel hardly anyone gets? I could care less about the Bulls or Cubs game :(:(:(

Ummm, because it's a playoff game against Miami and the ratings will be huge.

Agreed. Even as a non-basketball fan, I can understand the Bulls getting attention right now.

What channel is channel 71 on Comcast Cable? (I know 53 is CLTV)

I can only imagine the quality. Comcast Plus games are bad enough, let alone on channel 98/Comcast ++.

But very understandable, in fact I will probably be watching the Bulls anyway.

well, up in the Ingleside/Fox Lake/Round Lake area the game isn't on. I hate that the Bulls game is on TNT and CSN. I don't understand the need to be on both stations. I realize that some people prefer to hear the home announcers, but they will split the ratings, so I'm assuming that the ratings won't be as high for CSN as some people are thinking.

EDIT: Well according ot that link, it's on 71 or 75, which I don't remember ever getting here to begin with, but on the TV guide listings on TVguide.com, it isn't listed. Usually I can find it on there.

I use Comcast's TV listing site as my guide, and they still have the Sox game on CLTV for my personal listings. I'm in the Comcast SW Chicago listings (1, 4, & 5). Meanwhile, they do have the Bulls' game listed on CSN, and the Cubs' game isn't even listed.

Now I'm confused!

It's not down here in the Springfield area either, great. I wonder if the game would be available through MLB.tv for those in Illinois who can't get it on cable at all? Somehow, I doubt it!

It doesn't NEED to be on CSN though, it's already going to be on TNT. They've done this crap the past 2 years, and I can't watch the Sox game since we don't get CSN+ in Macomb, all the while I get to watch the Bulls game on 2 channels.

Where is "ON TV" when you need it.

So everyone at Comcast should say to hell with a game that will draw the most ratings because TNT will have it already? I would venture that a majority of Bulls fans will go with the local flavor here.

The Bulls game will draw far better ratings than an April game at KC. I'm sorry it's hard for some to realize.

Hi everyone. This is my first post, although I have lurked for quite awhile.

During the Yankees/Red Sox game on ESPN last night, they listed the Sox/Royals game on 4/24 as an ESPN2 telecast. I called the Sox this morning and they said that the ESPN2 airing would probably be blacked out in the Chicago area due to the CSN2 broadcast.

For those fans who live outside of the blackout region, you might want to check ESPN2 Tuesday night if you are not able to get the CSN2 feed.

Now I shall return to lurking * - *

Edit: nvm, forgot about the blackout rules. Can i count on the Sox in HD on comcast 2?

Sox are on GodTV in my area. Even though I'll be mainly watching the Bulls game, tomorrow will be the first time ever that I have watched that channel. It'll be weird watching that channel after the ballgame...

Since I won't get the Bulls game due to their weird blackout rules, I hope that the Sox will just be on CSN+, with the Flubs on CSN. It'll probably be Heartland Poker Tour on CSN and the Flubs on CSN+, though. :?:
