Apparently the CBS Evening News will broadcast from Chicago Monday or at least a reporter will be in Chicago. Viewers have the chance to vote for the Chicago based story that will be covered. It's called assignment America.

One of the potential stories is on the Bossard family and their relationship with the White Sox as groundskeepers.

Here is the link where you can vote for story #2.

Only one vote per customer however!

Voted. What is real nice is the fact that not only are the Cubs left out, the Sox are the only sports choice.

The bad news is that only 10 or 11 people nationwide (given CBS' ratings) will see it.

I'm surprised the US Olympic Bid wasn't one of the selections!

Just voted. BTW, don't underestimate CBS' ratings. At least 20 people should see the Bossard feature.

Man I might have the watch Katie and the CBS Evening News Monday evening instead of Williams or Gibson. I think I have watched her once since she was on CBS and completely fell asleep. I really dislike CBS Evening News but if they do a story on Bossard I would LUVE them.

Lets pray no radio disc jockey blurts out some insane phrase now.

If the story does actually win, why tune in on Monday? It will be posted on youtube eventually.

To vote more than once (in large numbers Chicago style) tell your browser to not accept cookies for any site. I did this in Firefox Tools>Options>Privacy Tab>Unchecked "Accept Cookies from sites" for those who do not know how to do that.
