This has got to be a financial blow to Cleveland losing 4 dates already.
Not to mention the stress on their existing schedule trying to squeeze in 4 more games throughout the rest of the year. Seattle doesn't return to Cleveland this year and doesn't host the "Toons" till Sept, with an open date before the series.

Not to mention the damage it's doing to my fantasy team :D:

They might as well move the series with the Angels to Anaheim...

The Indians seemed to have so much momentum after winning their first two games and knocking Buehrle out in the second inning. Some of their fans feel they were cheated into a loss because AJ didn't try hard enough to get out of the way (as if they would have been in good shape facing AJ with the bases loaded, no one out and a 2-0 count in a tie game in the bottom to the ninth). Going from being one strike away from a win to having four games postponed makes that slight seem trivial.

The fact is, losing four games to the weather could be worse than losing four games to the Mariners would have been. This could come back to bite them hard in September. Believe the Indians and Mariners won't be a factor at the end and one or two of the games will never be made up. But if the Indians are in the thick of the race, this will be a problem.

It would be nice if the tribe were forced to play 2 double headers in 2 out of three days in Sept as they are trying to catch the Sox! It's tough enough to win both games of a DH, let alone 2 DH in 3 days.

Cleveland's upcoming series against Anaheim will be played in Milwaukee, of all places.

Hopefully they stay there for the weekend series against the Sox as well.

The forecast for next weekend in Cleveland calls for temps in the mid 50s, so they'll likely be having their home opener against us. :(:

When Major League (the first one) was filmed, most of the regular season games that were shown were filmed in Milwaukee County Stadium because of scheduling conflicts with the Cleveland Browns.

I guess the Brewers have a roof, but its kinda funny that Cleveland is going to Milwaukee to escape the cold.

It's not so much the cold that they're escaping but the fact that the field is covered by about a foot of snow and that there is not enough time to get the field ready to play the Angels.
