It was pretty cool. There's an author who just wrote a book about Jackie Robinson's first season and Milt took a call from Reinsdorf, who as an 11-year-old saw Robinson's first game in New York as the Dodgers played the Yankees in an exhibition game right before Opening Day. The Chairman said the kids he hung out with at the time were really just concerned with how Robinson played and not his color. He said the crowd at the game wasn't terribly big. Reinsdorf said he was two-thirds of the way through the book and is enjoying it. It sounds like it's a good one.
At the end, Reinsdorf also said he thinks this year's Sox team is going to be good despite the rocky start, then added he thinks the Cubs are in for a good season too.
