I had a strange experience on opening day after the game. As my friend and I hung out at the Stadium Club after the game, after about fifteen minutes with our beers, we realized that the World Series trophy was sitting behind us on a barstool!

It was really odd, in that no one was really paying any attention to it! It was just there, casually perched on a stool. So we posed for pictures with it for a few minutes, again, like we were the only ones that noticed it.

A couple of minutes later, some official-looking person came over, picked it up, and took it away without saying a word or any reaction from the people around it.
Anyway, it made for an interesting end to opening day. :cool:
