Hey all. A friend of mine has season tix in the upper tank and im heading home for Easter and the series this weekend. The weather for tomorrow is a high in the low 40s with up to 45! mph wind gusts and possible snow. Friday and Saturday will both be a bit breezy up in the middle-upper 30s...Whos all toughing out these games? I love being at home for opening week but sometimes it is like bearing Bears weather at USCF. :raincloud: :thud:

I'm going to Thursday's game; but, I sold my Friday game ticket to a good friend who is such a die-hard that she will attend a game in any kind of weather.

Yeah, I just happen to always have access to a ticket through my friend and with everything going on in April in my life I wont be able to go again so I gotta tough this out while I can!

Weather.com on tomorrows weather:

"Windy with periods of snow flurries later in the day. Temps nearly steady in the mid to upper 30s. Winds WNW at 25 to 35 mph (meaning a plain swirel in the park). Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph."

Man am I pumped! Break out the long underwear, parkas, four layers.

I'm glad somebody is pumped. I'll be there, but I'm not excited about it.

I'm pumped. The bag is packed and I'm ready to roll. You don't see games in weather like this too often.

We will this late October.

I remember a Labor Day about 20 years ago where we could visually see the mercury on the external thermometer go down. It dropped somewhere near 35 degrees in about 10 minutes.

I'm going on Friday night:

From weather.com (http://www.weather.com/outlook/health/allergies/tenday/60616?from=36hr_topnav_allergies):

Mostly Cloudy / Wind
High: 35
Low: 27

I must be :kukoo: ! Friday's game will be the coldest game I've been to in over four years. I was at the second game of the season in 2003 and the weather was awful. I've got three days to figure out how many layers of clothes to wear and how to dress for this spring weather.

I'm sure that the Sox kicking the crap out of the Twins would warm you up from inside just enough.

I'm taking my girlfriend to her first ever baseball game on Friday...If she wants to leave early because of the cold, it could kill the relationship.

Dump her.

Looks to be awesome today. Currently 28 with the wind chill making it feel like 15.

Today should be hilarious...

39 25 Sunshine, cool. Chilly winds persist but a somewhat lower velocities. Clouds are likely to build as the day proceeds

According to our pal Skilling.

I'll be at Fridays game. I am going to get a couple packs of these: http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/P/B00076XFO0.01-A10K9XESHUEG9E._AA280_SCLZZZZZZZ_V23140560_.jpg (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B00076XFO0/ref=dp_image_0/103-2799428-3380633?ie=UTF8&n=1036592&s=apparel)I'll put these in my socks, pockets, and maybe even tape them to my chest or something.

I just found a pack of those in my desk. A co-worker of mine gave them to me back in September when I was going to a game when the game time temperature was supposed to be in the mid-40s and I never used 'em. I just put them in my bag to take home for Friday! A game time temperature in the mid-40s actually sounds nice right about now, doesn't it?

I am going to all 3 also. I will be layering like crazy. Now I wish I did not return those long undies I bought for a Bears game last season.

I'm going to be home for Easter as well, so I'm going to try and get to either Saturday or Sunday's game. Girlfriend's never been to a baseball game before, I must fix that.

I'll be at Saturday's game against the twins, fortunately for me my Dad got his law firm's skybox so I don't have to be in the cold the whole time. I don't like the skybox because it's not a real baseball feeling so I'll probably end up walking around and hanging out on the concourse with the other Sox fans for a few innings.

I'll be at the game on Friday, then at the Fire game on Saturday. Good thing I didn't put away the winter coat yet.

I walked home after the game yesterday, and it was BAD. Tolerable during the game, but nasty afterwards. If a game gets called this week, it will be Friday night IMO..... which is the only one I'm missing either way. Off to the first win of the year now though........

We will be there Friday night and Sunday afternoon. Bundle up and tough it out. We refuse to miss an opportunity to go to a Sox game.

Have they ever called a game because it was too cold?
