May get to the Jake later in the year, but I have to skip the 1st round. Been meaning to get to that park for a while now.

I'm going along with some of my college buddies. We are gonna be tailgating and maybe playing cornhole. Make sure that everyone tailgating leaves a bit early because of the rush hour traffic that starts around 4. I learned my lesson over the years.....

Good luck, of coarse it won't be Memorial Day for which the town of Cleveland says shut down time everyone out.

Meh. A bunch of chain/franchise bars along a river which has been known to catch on fire.

I'll be out there later this year since my mom is moving there as soon as she sells her condo here (anyone want a nice condo wher you can see the fireworks at Comiskey???). Maybe Labor Day Weekend...........

Great Lakes, Boneyard, Winking Lizard, Cleveland Chop House. Those are the best downtown places. Several other places if you're going out to Coventry.

We may go, but there are a few things that may impede us:

1) We need someone to watch the dog.
2) The 15th is our first anniversary. It seems a bit odd to spend our anniversary in the Mistake By The Lake.
3) I am not a big fan of long car rides, but don't feel like paying for a flight.

Sure the hell glad I am not riding with you then. The Cleveland trip is not a bad drive at all.

How long is the drive? I'm going out to Cleveland the first weekend in August, and considering a nice road trip.

There are bars on the flats that are not part of any national chains. Always had a blast there when I visited my ex-girllfriend. There was/is (not sure if its still there) a great bar right across from Jacobs that was always a good time.

I do not think that is the one they are referring to. I think it is the one that has a huge patio. I can not think of the name of it though.

I talked to my uncle and friend in Cleveland and they said the weather is fine. Hopefully it will get better and the Sox will play there instead of WI.
