Former Major League baseball pitcher Ugueth Urbina (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/5385/) was sentenced to 14 years in prison for the attempted murder of five workers on his family's ranch, the Attorney General's Office announced Wednesday.

Urbina, a former pitcher with the Montreal Expos, Boston Red Sox (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/teams/bos/), Texas Rangers (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/teams/tex/), Florida Marlins (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/teams/fla/), Detroit Tigers (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/teams/det/) and Philadelphia Phillies (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/teams/phi/), was also found guilty of illegal deprivation of liberty and violating a prohibition against taking justice into his own hands during a dispute over a gun on Oct. 16, 2005, according to a statement from the Attorney General's Office.

That guy went from a World Series closer who was entering FA to convicted felon. Talk about how life can change in a second.

Which was started after this one.
Is it a goal of yours to try and prove me wrong every day? So far your 0 for 2.

Ha same here. I had a converstation with my friend about it. It mostly focused on his crazy tiger hat that he kept wearing while behind bars.

Yeah, what is up with that hat? It's something that a 70-year old woman on vacation in Las Vegas would wear! Talk about needing to call the fashion police.
As far as the 14 year sentence. Man, that dude is going to be a different person when he walks out of that prison. My guess is he will be broke: extorted by judges, various lawyers and mafia firgures. Uribe was pretty lucky he was involved with just a pellet gun, etc. It seems that you are guilty just by association down there.
