Wasn't he with us last year in camp and I believe he spent the season in Charlotte.

No that would be Tim Redding as Redman was with the royals last year as their "all-star"

With balsa injured and Prior in the minors, I'm surprised the Cubs didn't jump at Redman and give him a 5 year 60 million dollar contract ala Marquis and Lily.

Manager Bobby Cox said Redman will make the Braves' roster, probably as their No. 4 starter.Oh, how far the once mighty Braves pitching staff have fallen.

Don't worry, he'll still work with Leo Mazzone as he is, the pitching coach for the .....Whoops never mind, I don't know why they made this deal. I guess if it's only for a million this season, and he's pitcher's park as his home starts, it might not be the bad.

Certainly a low-risk signing.
