Whether they'll win the World Series is up in the air for me, though I believe they can. At the worst, they'll finish second in the division with the Wild Card. The Tigers are still the team to beat until someone knocks them off.

We are, by far, in the toughest division. We win it all! I believe!

Here's to Kenny!

Love that enthusiasm, buddy!

AL Central is so tough... I'd be happy with the wild card, then proof in the playoffs.

Then, another Championship.

IF we make the playoffs, we'll go deep in them, and possibly win the series.

I don't think Detroit will be as good as last year.

The twins are the team I fear. If they play as good as they did last year, um......

Wild Card winner for the Sox?

Personally, I just would love to see Santana and Sabathia of the Indians be handed nothing but losses by the palehose. That would certainly strengthen our push to win the division.

I'm spoiled -World Series Championship. I don't care which route the White Sox have to take, whether as a division winner or a wild card.

It's not going to be easy, but I believe the Sox will at least return to the World Series. We are facing tough competition within the division, but we have the horses to get us there.

1.) 110 wins by the team

2.) Contreras, Buehrle, Garland, Vazquez each win 20 games while Danks wins 15 games. Yes I know it was Floyd, but at this rate I just want the 5th starter to flourish.

3.) BA goes 20/20/75/.300/.350 batting #2

4.) Uribe puts up the same numbers in the nine spot.

5.) Dye, Thome, Konerko, Iguchi, and Crede each hit at least 30 HRs and 100 RBIs.

6.) AJ bats .320 and wins a GG at catcher, while Crede win a GG at 3B, and ditto for Dye in RF.

7.) This team will win the division by 10 games and go undefeated in the post-season, being the 1st team since the '76 Reds to accomplish that feat.

OK, outside of BA, Uribe, the 5th spot, what is really far-fetched out of them to happen.

And as for Iguchi hitting 30/100? That won't happen either because he'll be batting 2nd (that is if Ozzie has given up on his 'drop Iguchi in the order' fetish).

Who's to say that Contreras, Vazquez, Buehrle and Garland don't get on a roll where they are just unhittable for a few months and then can coast to 20 wins after that.

Also, Ozzie seems pretty keen on moving down Iguchi to 6th where we can see how much of a force he was back in Japan.

EDIT: In fact, I think it would be interesting to find out how many teams have had four 20-game winners, and the last time it happened.

I'll go out on a limb and say we beat the mets in a 5 game series.:gulp:

"Damn" is right; wow. Baseball doesn't work that way.

I see them as a Wild Card team with some playoff losses. I think the Sox will be good, but there are about six other AL teams than can compete with them. Winning championships is NEVER easy. You make it sound like it will be.

But 'tis the season for optimism.

I think it was the Orioles back in 1971 that was the last team with four 20-game winners with the only other team doing that the 1920 White Sox. Link (http://au.sports.yahoo.com/061124/3/zk63.html)
