They're both baseball teams located in the midwest.

That's what prompted my pic. There are lots of teams that haven't won a WS in new parks. Reds, Indians, Orioles, etc.

It's funny how many people I see walking around the city wearing Tigers hats. Kinda like after the Red Sox won the Series, it seemed like every schmo in Lakeview had a Boston hat. I haven't been able to distinguish if they are actually Detroit/Boston fans celebrating their teams success or Cubs fans wearing them for different reasons all together... i.e. Boston breaking their "curse" and Detroit "ending" the Sox chances at repeating.

Either way, **** Cubs fans.

I know what you mean. I have seen the same clowns wearing very expensive, authentic jerseys and a ratty Cubs hats and I think it is totally out of balance. I am Irish and pretty superstious and I think it is just bad luck to wear any team apperal other than the one you root for. I don't buy in to curses or anything but I think it upsets a balance when someone does that. I know that sounds crazy but I can't help it.
