Miller nails it:

Basically says that the $300 million spending spree was just for "new toys in general manager Jim Hendry's garage," and that Prior is the key to the season- which pretty much means they're in trouble.

It was announced today that the Cubs have revoked Scott Miller's press pass for the 2007 season.

Talk about coincidences.

Did any of the mods like FarWest and Dump e-mail Miller this article?

That would be incredibly low, even by Cub standards.

If I'm a pitcher, this is the last place I want to go. Man, have they ruined some talents. I wonder how much of it is bad scouting (i.e. Wood) and one hell of a bad management team (Prior).

I tried to google for this and I could not find anything. Iím not trying to say your making this up, I believe you, but I just want to find some source that has this.
