The ad in today's paper reads:
2005: A Cinderella season. 2007: Rambo.

Is it possible to link to the ad?

Assuming this is another 2X4 production, and knowing they post here, could they perhaps provide a direct link to the latest Sox ads as they have in the past?

The Sox have a lot of backing up their ads to do.

Yeah, vs. the Twins. After singing "Ballgame", he'll scream out "They Drew First Blood!!" and whip out the M-16.

Of all the "Back to the Grind" ads, the Rambo one's the weakest.

I like the 'Role Model' one and especially the 'We haven't won a championship in, like... months' one hanging in my office just to cheese off my Cub-fan co-workers.

Wow, that is pretty pathetic advertising. Just put the damn picture of Thome and a schedule, no need for a meaningless punch-line. A casual baseball fan isn't going to come watch the Sox because they are being compared to Rambo. To the Sox marketing department and TwoByFour, sorry to say but you have a lot of work to do to match the great advertising from 2005 and 2006.

I myself would have preferred Cobra. Or, if you prefer, Marion Cobretti.

Are the Sox going back to bet POW's out of Vietnam?

I thought it was very cheeky. Some of you people need a better sense of humor.

"Sox, I want you to try and forget the war. Remember the mission. The old Central's dead."
"Sir I'm alive, it's still alive, ain't it?"

"Pressure? Let me just say the Sox are the best team I've ever seen. A pure fighting machine with only a desire - to win a war that someone else lost. And if winning means they have to die - they'll die. No fear, no regrets. And one more thing: what you choose to call Hell, they call home."

haha I could do this all day.
