View Full Version : Good article on the 5th starter's spot.

I have to say I really like Danks personality, he doesn't sound like he's cocky or anything nad he seems to be a perfectionist in a way with his comments after each start. He also sounds like a real good teammate who I think would fit right into the rotation. I also love how he just attacks the hitters, I get such a headache (as I'm sure other people do) when I see 2-0, 2-1, 3-1 counts constantly. I really hope he wins 5th starter spot although I wouldn't be too upset if he got more seasoning in the minors, I think Kenny really found something special in this guy. I think we can all understand how he was "bowled over" in the McCarthy trade.

Nice to hear Haegar had a good "B" game.

Floyd hit 96 on the gun :?:? I didn't know he had that good of a fastball.

Based on what I've seen, I favor Danks for the 5th spot, but I haven't forgotten the fact Haegar's knuckle isn't as effective in the Arizona climate. I've liked what I've seen of him too.
