I've heard that teams typically do the opposite of what their ST records are, but a glimmer of hope would sure be nice.

Does anyone remember the Sox ST record in 2000? IIRC, they didn't do all that well and even through to the first few games in the regular season. Then they took over first on April 19 and never looked back...

but we had the best ST records in 1993 and 1983

I have never been one to pay that much attention to spring training. I am not out on the window ledge yet but a couple of nice outings with our pitchers would be nice. It's been reminding me of years past of playing fast pitch in the school playground.

Drink heavily (conclusion) our pitching looks great!

at least the yanks haven't been particularly stellar in spring training
