Baseball Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced today that Hall of Famer and former Washington Nationals manager Frank Robinson will rejoin the Commissioner's Office as a Special Advisor to the Executive Vice President, Baseball Operations, effective March 5th, 2007.
Robinson, who served as Baseball's Vice President for On-Field Operations from 2000-02, will report directly to Jimmie Lee Solomon, MLB's Executive Vice President, Baseball Operations, and advise Solomon on a variety of baseball matters.
