View Full Version : Jim Thome interview

Interview on mlb.com. It starts at about 14:15 and lasts about 5 minutes. He talks about the offseason, his training regiment, etc.

The Thome interview is followed by a hilarious one minute Barry Bonds "press conference".

Like PK, I never worry when Thome is interviewed. He will always say the right thing, yet at the same time, be genuine and honest without ripping any teammates. He is first class, and I hope he is able to get that World Series ring he richly deserves, in 2007.

Speaking of interviews, is there any reason why we couldn't get a WSI/Lip interview with one of the current key folks on the Sox? Lip's done a fantastic job tracking down great Sox names from the past, but wouldn't it be great to have a current WSI interview with say KW, Paulie, or Burly-mon etc? ... especially since the local press is so patheticly inept and inaccurate in its coverage, even by the Trib/SunTimes featured sports writers.
