During my english class, I have been chosen to briefly explain the 1919 Black Sox scandal. Here's where you come in, i need a few articles to help my better understanding of this topic. I was wondering if anyone could give me a website or 2 about this topic, as it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Cuck :D:

Flashback... I did my history fair project on the Black Sox when I was in 7th grade. Back when there was no internet... crazy. :D:
But I do know the Harold Washington downtown has tons of information on it or their online database should have stuff as well.

I wrote a research paper last year on the scandal, and I would recommend reading Eight Men Out (not the movie). It is by far the most informative. This site is good too: http://1919blacksox.com/index2.htm

The movie itself is actually pretty good.

Yeah, but it's still a movie. They always mess something up in movies to make it more interesting.

You can't go by everything in the book, either. For example Billy Maharg was not Peaches Graham.
