Good Luck to him. I always liked Sandy. Hopes he makes the team but i doubt it

Looks like it's the Mets turn to get their taste of the Alomar curse. I think Alomar would be better off as a coach at this point in his career.

I can't imagine they'll DFA someone to add Alomar to their roster.

Looks like it's the Mets turn to get their taste of the Alomar curse. They've already felt the worst of it from Roberto.

And Sandy Alomar Sr. is their 3rd Base Coach. Some fella named Jerry Manuel is their Bench Coach.

My God, doesn't he get it? He's ancient, I'd sooner have Johnny Bench catching than Alomar. It's time to hang 'em up.

God, I really hate signings like these. Why is he still getting a job when there are thousands and thousands of young baseball players around the world that are more deserving, but because he brings a "veteran presence" he'll keep getting jobs.

So who do you think we'll trade to the Mets to get Alomar back? :D:

My God, doesn't he get it? He's ancient, I'd sooner have Johnny Bench catching than Alomar. It's time to hang 'em up.He wants to play, somebody's willing to pay him to do so. As long as it's not the Sox, what's the harm?

Would you have given it up? If you can do something that you love and get paid greatly for it and your services are still wanted you would walk away? There's no way he would get as much as a coach as he does a player.
