At least some news to compete with the big signage on the outfield wall at the shrine story on the front of the Tribune.

Mod edit: Seems to me you knew it was wrong to copy/paste, so why did you quote it in its entirety? Take a day off.

Only post links or excerpts from articles. You posted the entire article, which is a copyright infringment. I'd edit your post to put just the link to the article and possibly a few excerpts before the mods get to it.

Quoting an exerpt forom an article is one thing, but posting the entire piece is not allowed.

Just go back and edit it. Delete the text and post a link. Problem solved.

I'm not an armchair mod. I figure the guy deserved some real advice rather than a bunch of slogans.

After seeing major excerpts from two articles today, including one printed in its entirety, it's about time we discuss fair use again. Here's how it works. NO MORE THAN 10% OF ANY ARTICLE SHOULD BE QUOTED. More than that constitutes a copyright violation, and will get you banned anywhere from one day to permanently.

If you're not sure of the rules around here, they are prominently stuck at the top of this forum. READ THEM.

Interesting to hear about all the personnel moves at Sox management. Hopefully they can develop some more minor league talent for us to help the Sox in the future.

Larry Monroe has been with the Sox for a long time. He was the Sox #1 draft pick in '74 and pitched for them in '76.

Was Monroe the guy who wrote a book about four years ago about helping young pitchers develop their arms and not get injured? I always thought it was ironic this book came out a year after Parque, Sirotka, Wright, Howry, Baldwin, & Co. went down with near career-ending injuries.

Near career-threatening injuries? All except Howry are down the commode.
