The Eduardo Perez thread got me thinking. What team have the White Sox shared the most players with?

To me, it seems like the we've shared alot of players with the Indians.

I mean, off the top of my head I can name Harold Baines, Albert Belle, Kenny Lofton, Jim Thome, the Alomar brothers, Paul Assenmacher, Black Jack McDowell, Julio Franco, Keith Foulke, Shoeless Joe Jackson, Bartolo Colon, David Riske, Sherm Lollar, Minnie Minoso.

How many more players have we shared with the Indians? Is there a website that lists these types of things?

How many can you name? It there a team we've shared more players with than the Indians?

Also, it seems like alot of guys played for the White Sox, Orioles, and Indians in their careers.

Ask and ye shall receive:

250 position players and 103 pitchers have played for both the White Sox and Indians at some points in their careers.

As near as I can tell, the Sox have indeed shared the most players with the Indians.

Baseball-reference.com never ceases to amaze me. It's one of the coolest places on the web in my opinion.

And CLIFF POLITTE.

I'm so glad a team picked him up. He's a non roster invitee, but I really hope he makes the team.

I sure hope not. That would only make one of our division rivals' bullpens a lot better. He's an Indian now, I have to hate him.

Hate is such a strong word normally reserved for a certain, distinguished few.
I just hope Cliff sucks when he faces us.
