Wow not one ESPN gamethe ones we had last year. I am sure they will add some but usually we have atleast one ESPN. I like seeing a bunch on WGN I will get to see a decent amount of games now.

I always got excited for the Espn games. But last year made me unexcited for them it seems like we always lost with a late rally.

Example: Against the astros on that sunday where Tad had a big game.
Also I believe there was a game similar to that against the indians.

Yes, but it was originally on the schedule as "NO TV" like is has been since 2005.

When the Sox were coming down the stretch Comcast Sports Net was able to put it on TV.

Darn. I was looking forward to the two months worth of bitching about Minnesota Golden Gophers football, WCIU, WGN, Comcast Sports Net, the Metrodome, the Big Ten, Bud Selig, Directv, and the Minneapolis Boxing and Wrestling Club.

Yeah, Verne Gagne sucks

61 games on free TV. :supernana: * 61 (29 on WGN, 8 on Fox, 24 on WCIU)

I assume at least one of the two TBD games (Sunday game vs. the Cubs) will be on free TV unless it is moved to ESPN.

:gulp:

Yeah, Verne Gagne sucks

I didn't think anyone would get that reference.

I always thought it was ironic that Greg Gagne was a shortstop on the '87 World Champion Twins.

Since Fox Game of the Week airs at 2:55 pm now intead of 12:20, there's no broadcast conflict. But dont be suprised if it becomes a fox game(assuming either team is close to clinching) that happens to air at 11am.

Haven't Fox games of the week in the past started much later into the season, rather than the first/second weekend as is scheduled?

That Sunday home game against the Cubs looks like it will be a night game at the Cell. I believe the last time we played the Cubs at night our good ole buddy Damaso walked in the game winning run in the bot of the ninth against the flubbies. I could be wrong though.......

I believe that the last night game played at the Cell between the Sox and Cubs was the 14 inning affair in which Shammy went something like 1 for 6 with 5 k's. I do believe that the last night game anywhere in the city between these teams was the sunday game at the urinal on the Fourth of July weekend.

That was a game in 2000. The winning run was Ray Durham knocking a ball into left field to score the Milkman.

The last Cubs/Sox night game was in 2001 when Caballo hit the walkoff grandslam.

I believe ESPN got the number of games they broadcast trimmed down. I think they only get one Wed night baseball game.

I'm guessing at least one or two of those 'TBD' are ESPN games. And for those midweek ones, CSN usually does them anyways, so I'm guessing they prefer to list them first.
