I need some help finding pics of John Kruk in a White Sox uniform. I live in and area that is vastly dominated by Phillies fans. When I go to work all I hear is "Phillies this and Phillies that."

Some of them still pine for John Kruk. I want to get as many photos as I can and make a John Kruk White Sox collage.

I've searched yahoo and google and I've had no luck finding any. I need some help!!

Thanks to anyone who posts any websites or pics!! GO WHITE SOX!!!!!

I have very little memory of that time, but he did have a .308 average for us in 45 games.

He is not to be remembered in the black and white. Is this not the same man who quit on us after he secured a career .300 avg all those years ago?

Kruk in a short time played good for the Sox.I think Kruk was coming off testicular cancer and i think he just lost love of the game.

Ok, I'll give you that, but what the hell was Chris Sabo's excuse? :D:

Is that possibly Chris Snopek on the bench in the background?

I don't know, it is an old pic off my hard drive that was taken by a friend at a game.

It looks like Karkovice - shades and shins (guards).

You can see one of the numbers on his jersey, and it appears to be a 0, so it's probably Karko. He wore 20, Snopek was 27.

I thought Snopek was #10. There's definitely a "0" in the photo, so it's probably either Karkovice or Snopek.

Ok, this is pretty wild. I just did a little research on Baseball Almanac.

The photo of Kruk in the posts above was taken on July 30, 1995. He retired in the middle of the game.

According to Baseball Almanac, Chris Snopek made his mlb debut on July 31, 1995.

I'm assuming Snopek was called up to take Kruk's roster spot.

And this proves the photo shows Karkovice in the background as #20 on 7/30/95.

According to WSI's "By the Numbers" feature, he did wear 10, but he also had 27 as I suspected, as seen in this photo. Brian's right about it probably being Karko though.
I will always remember Snopek for taking Robin's place the year he broke his ankle in ST. Robin was my favorite player, so that was a sad day in March for me.
