Yesterday A-Rod had a book signing in Manhattan for his new children's book.

The 2 NY taboids have very different versions of what happened

Alex Rodriguez's appearance at a signing for his children's book was mishandled by his publicist and bookstore staff members, turning the ballyhooed event into a media circus that included a paparazzi member tossing A-Rod a ball to sign. At one point, a New York policeman grabbed a reporter for the crime of trying to interview the beleaguered superstar

If you read the story A-Rod hints that Boras wants him to opt out of his remaining contract with NYY because he can command an even BIGGER payday.

After what JD Drew got he may be right.

If you read the story A-Rod hints that Boras wants him to opt out of his remaining contract with NYY because he can command an even BIGGER payday.

After what JD Drew got he may be right.

If he did opt out it definitely wouldn't be for the money, because I highly doubt he would make more money than the contract that he has right now, unless he somehow signed with the sCrUBS, then they might give him 50 million a year. Although, I wouldn't mind him opting out to sign with the Sox for less if somehow, Joe Crede ended up getting traded. I like Joe Crede but I'm saying if that happened.......

He would play SS for us, not 3B. And Fields would be the 3B then.
