"I'd love to have him hit fifth behind Mark Teixeira if he shows he can hit Major League pitching," manager Ron Washington said.

Hope he enjoys Oklahoma City!! I wonder if his boombox gets its own seat for those long bus trips?

The Wife Beater said he felt "beaten down" mentally after the 2005 season. Oh, sweet sweet irony.....

"I know I'm ready 100 percent mentally, physically. I'm hungry and I want to come back, and the numbers are going to be there, no question about it," Sosa said. "I'm not going to be playing until 48 or 49 because this is too much. but I think I have four, five years left in my body."Please god don't make us endure another 4 or 5 years of this jerk :praying:

Well if it isn't Mr. I-Like-A-To-Hit-da-Honron. What makes him think he'll do any better in Texas just because it's a hitter's park? Wasn't Baltimore a hitter's park? Just give it up already, Shammy "Say he is" So-So.

The team who signed him is the same one that gave us two top prospects for "workhorse" Brandon McCarthy. Never underestimate the stupidity of the Texas Rangers...

I'm liking this trade more and more all the time.

Good for corky. He will probably withdraw from spring training because he blows out his back sneezing.

I salute him for never touching a needle or any pills in his life.:redneck
