It's Schilling vs. Ritchie.
ANd I'll have to drop off a bit before the game begins, but I should miss just the top of the first at the most.

Why even have ST if a guy like Crede earns a job and dont get it? He has 2 more hits today and 2 more RBI

Going to make it tough on them to leave him behind that is for damn sure...

Well I think I caught the top bottom of the 6th.
All I caught was from 2 outs.
Durham - Solo Homerun.
Thomas - Solo Homerun.
Liefer - Walk
Rowand - single, Liefer to third, Rowand to second on throw.
Crede - Double , Lifer and Rowand Score.
Hummel - ground out.
Sox 4 Arizona 1.
That's all I can do, I have to go now.
Did not make notes.
The Sox lead 4-1. top of 7th
Patterson relieved Schilling, who is in mid season form.
After two outs, Durham and Big Frank hit back to back home runs. Liefer walked and advanced to 3rd on a Rowand single. Rowand hutstled to 2nd base on throw. Crede delivered again and doubled. Both runners scored. Hummel ended the inning (groundout)
Ritchie looked pretty good as well.
After 2-2 count, Paul flies out to center
Durham grounds out to 3rd on a 3-1 pitch.
Harris flies out to left on an 1-0 pitch.
End of 7th. still 4-1 Sox

And that was Chad Durham, not ray.
Osuna gave up a HR on his first pitch... wow

I didn't get a chance to catch most of the game until the 7th. I heard the first 2 and Ritchie sounds like he did pretty good beside the first inning. I might have another reason to curse White Sox management if Crede is left behind.
Just heard Osuna is back to form. I stick by what i said before. I never liked this move from the start. He just gave up a 400+ homer.
Did not pay attention to who bats for Arizona
HR, K, K, E6, BB, BB, K
Osuna's pitching line (so far)
IP H R ER BB K HR
1 1 1 1 2 3 1
Both walks were full count walks. Hummel was charged another error (but it was Liefer's fault according to Rooney and Farmer)
LHP Mike Myers relieves Patterson.
Quintero walks after 3-2 count.
Valenzuela (?) swings at first pitch and singles.
Liefer K's on a 1-2 pitch
Rowand hits into 5-4-3 DP.
Bottom of 8th. 4-2 Sox

Hey Cubs, we got yer Osuna rrrright 'ere

Is it just me or wasn't Valenzuela and Quintero sent down to the minors?
Osuna nearly explodes.
single (0-2 pitch), single (0-2 pitch), sacrifice 2-4, ground out (a runner scores), popup to short right

2 3 2 2 2 3 1

No, they were, and Chad Durham was never with the team to begin with, they needed extra players since it's a SS game, so they nabbed a few from teh minor leauge camp next door.

Yes, but you can play whoever you want that is in your minor league camp, along with your major leaguers... :o:

Sox go out 1-2-3 in the top of the ninth, just gotta hold 'em.

A quick inning
Crede swings at first pitch and grounds out.

Evans K's on a 2-2 pitch.
Wunsch will pitch.

Damnit. Wunch gives up lead off homer. Tied at 4.
- Pete
Wunsch is also in mid season form. Gave up a HR on an 0-1 pitch.
4-4 tie

How many blown saves have we had in ST??? Anybody have a figure...maybe an estimate? 6? 7? 10? 200? :?:

I'll bet they blow this one too. Won't any extra innings here.
Like Farmer was saying how most of our losses were caused by the bullpen. The bullpen is the most fragile part of this team. But he was encouraged by the 2 out runs scored by the Sox. We will definately need those with this bullpen come regular season.
Hummell hasn't showed me anything all spring. I'm glad we got Harris.
So far
HR on an 0-1 pitch
single on a 3-1 pitch
single on an 1-2 pitch. runners advanced to 2nd and 3rd on Hummel's error. (more like Harris' fault)
intentional pass
bases juiced. no out.
Another blown save?

Yup. Wunsch is the loser! Gonna be interesting when a lefty has to come out of the pen this year.

And that's a White Sox loser :whiner:

Actually Hummel hits very well in ST.
We have a number of time bombs in our bullpen: Howry, Osuna, Wunsch, Parque (if he does not start)... I may have missed some others.

I would rather have them take it easy and lose the game than overpitch and hurt themselves.

Mike's been BY FAR the best leftie in ST. And one of the better pitchers period.

My mistake, you are right about his hitting. I remember hearing his average a couple days ago. Brooke Burke was in a bikini on the tv, and my mind must have been somewhere else.
