2007 will prove to be one of the most memorable seasons in the history of baseball

500 Home Runs: Frank Thomas-Jim Thome-Alex Rodriguez-Manny Ramirez
300 Wins: Tom Glavine
3000 Hits: Craig Biggio
3000 K's: Perdo Martinez
*Sosa needs 12 HR for 600, Clemens needs 2 Wins for 350, and Bonds may get 756 HR--Though those three players have steroid clouds over them

I really hope the Blue Jays are in town when Frank is near 500 so there's a chance he can hit it at US Cellular... that would be fitting... I know we'll get to see Thome do it this year, but that will be more meaningful to Indians fans while Frank will be far more meaningul to Sox fans... the franchise has never had someone hit 500 hr's and now he's going to do it in another uniform

I still can't believe Arod is already nearing 500 home runs. It just seems so soon. And yet there are people that still bash him...

250 million reason why he gets bashed....and no rings to counter those 250 million reasons.

Sure is not fair but in NYC, no matter what AROD ever does he is gonna get bashed. He could make 2-3 errors all year, hit 50 HR's, bat 330, have an OBP of 450 and even pitch a few shutouts and he'd still get trashed. Life in the Big Apple I guess.

Not to mention take the tickets, sell the hot dogs and clean out the stadium afterwards.

He'd still get blamed for the Knicks.

Yankme fans are fickle, the minute they win the World Series with A-Rod no one will say anything about him.

Frank Thomas getting to 500 HRS would be great and by the way, not to hijack the thread or anything but how much would a Frank Thomas signed baseball go for if he made the Hall of Fame?

You know... you never think about it... but do you realize Alex has never even PLAYED in a world series?

Yes i do realize that, but at the same time as astonishing as that sounds he's not the only great player to make that claim. Ernie Banks, Don Mattingly, Miguel Tejada, Technically speaking- Frank Thomas, and etc.

I really hope Sox pitchers shut Thomas down this year.I want him to hit #500 at USCF. Sox fans deserve to be there when he hits it. I don't even care if it costs us the game.

If it wasn't for Frank, I wouldn't have become a Sox fan.
