When picking up my Soxfest tickets, they gave me vouchers for a free April/May game and said I could pick redeem them at Soxfest. I can't believe they would let people redeem free vouchers before they go and sell the seats....

I can't imagine it being a problem. The Sox were coming off the WS last time around and I believe only Cubs and the opening series were unavailable. Tickets were limited for some of the other marquee games like the Yankees and Cardinals but other than that, virtually every other game had at least a few lowers available. Demand shouldn't be nearly as great this time.

Yeah, I'm almost positive there should be no problem, especially if I'm going to be ordering right at the 10:00 time.

It's the only way to live. Season ticket holders have their tickets, and the Sox are saying 'here, have a chance to scalp some as well'. Well of course, they could need more for others, then give it a try just like everyone else.

Actually, its more like 'here, you're the bread-and-butter of our ticket revenue so we'll give you first crack at buying tickets for family and friends". What's the problem?

I"m happy that all ST holders are the same this year. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think last year, full season holders presale was a day before partials. I can't wait to get me some good cubs and monday tix.

I think last year Full Season ticket holders got in an hour or half hour before Split Holders (who were an hour before the public)

I could be wrong though... :dunno:

i just hope we dont have to use ticketmaster.com, and we get to use the account manager(no fees). the bulls do this for thier st holder presale...

Last year, Scout and Suite holders got to go an hour early. Full and Split then went at the same time.

Probably a question I should know the answer to, but does this mean the USCF box office going to be open the 16th as well? I got a White Sox gift card for Christmas that I want to turn into a couple games.

Thanks in advance to anyone who knows.

It is my understanding that MLB makes the decision on this (as well as every other fee). They control the websites for all 30 clubs.

No, they stopped doing that a while ago. Why, I don't know. Ticket****er probably has something to do with it.

I just read the press release and it looks like they are only available online, by phone, or at TM outlets. I would call the Sox to confirm though.

I don't think so. The reason why I say is because some clubs use tickets.com. I would rather use them then TicketMaster.

I looked back at the press releases, they did go on sale at the box office in 2005, but not in 06. And this year, there is nothing that says they will open the box office on the on sale date. Take it for what it's worth.

2005 yes. I was first in line.

In 2006 they were not open the first day for the general public sale.

According to this thread from last year (http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=66580&highlight=tickets+on+sale) the general public on sale was on Friday, but the Box Office didn't open until Saturday.
