Hi,
I recently purchased the old White Sox training Camp on Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin. I was curious if any of you knew any of the history of the place.
Thank you!
Warren

I remember that the Sox ran it for several years starting in the '60s. It was a camp for boys and it specialized, iirc, in training in baseball. For at least part of the time the camp was directed by Bob Busteed who was the athletic director at Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in the late '60s.

:welcome: It probably produced some of those Twins pitchers who hurt us all the time.

By the way, when we use teal colored type it means we're being sarcastic.

The Sox media guides of that era have big presentations on those camps.
