One of the best deals of the offseason, if you ask me.

It might turn out to be keeping Pods for the amount we're paying him...

Or maybe not. But it was better than spending 2-5X that for Roberts, Matthews, Jr. or Pierre.

Great deal, Overbay is a quiet but solid player.

The Blue Jays lineup is going to be scary with Thomas, Wells, Glaus, Rios, Overbay, etc. If they could add one more starter to go with Halladay and Burnett, they would be in great shape.

If Glaus and Thomas can stay healthy, that's the big question mark.

It seems to me the weakness of this team has been the middle infield over the last 2-3 years, along with the lack of quality starting pitching depth.

Can Reed Johnson repeat his success of last year? Can they find a regular starting 2B? Is Royce Clayton (gasp) still a major league starter? Can Zaun hang on for another year? That's more issues than the White Sox offense has.

That's the only weakness I still see. They have essentially one proven pitcher, Halladay and then a well-paid but inconsistent guy in Burnett. Then it's a crapshoot; Chacin struggled last season, Marcum and Janssen both have shown potential but are still VERY young/inexperienced.

I pick the Jays for second in the ALED

Was he ever?

The Jays lineup has some boppers, but still not nearly enough (proven) pitching. I'd be willing to bet they finish no higher than third as of right now.
