Apologies if posted already but...

NBC 5 just showed a New Lenox home in which the Christmas lights are synchronized to "Let's Go-Go-Go White Sox." They did not give the address.

So, do they play the song outloud repeatedly while their lights are on? If so, what do the neighbors think of that?

Nice display...they aren't afraid to show their love for the Sox!

If its like the other houses that do that, there is actually a small radio transmitter that only reaches about 500 feet or so. You can tune your radio to their "station" and listen to the tunes in your car.

Two things: One, the sync isn't very creative with lights to music. Two, there is no Sox logo incorporated into the design, so it just makes it seem odd.

I agree it doesn't make much sense really.

Interesting. I have never seen that before.

I have to look into that whole syncing thing.. I'm seeing it more and more.
I agree It makes no sense without some kind of sox decoration of lights to tie in with the song. I have a friend who has the Michigan fight song synced with his display with a Uof M feel to it. blue and yellow lights. Pretty cool.

Cool. I remember this onehttp://www.zippyvideos.com/9072302322436476/wizar%3Cb%3E%3Ci%3ED%3C/i%3E%3C/b%3Esofwinter_sm/, came out last year, and I still think it's one of the best ones.

It reminds me of the Modern Marvels I saw last night on X-mas decorations. At the end, they made the whole spiel about how we were just scratching the surface in X-mas decor technology and major advances lie ahead in this century.
I had to agree fully that there's really much, much more that we, as humans, can do to make X-mas experience as completely ridiculous, tacky, and absurd as possible.

The Sox house is case in point. It makes absolutely no sense.

Go Sox, regardless.

That's one of the tackiest things I've ever seen.

It wasn't very well done, that's for sure. The guy who did it (in Ohio?) last year, who ended up having his house on Miller commercials was much better. It wasn't the Sox, but at least it was synchronized to the song. This is almost just random lights with "Let's Go Go Go White Sox" in the background.

To be fair, the White Sox song is not the only song that this guy has synched the lights to. There's at least one other video on youtube that he put up where he synched the lights to another song, and it looks much better. It is still very cool though.
