You guys want some ammo for Joel Zumaya?

Pop up audio interview with Dombrowski. First few minutes (http://www.wxyt.com/play_window.php?audioType=Episode&audioId=185619)

Consider it a gift for putting up with me for 8 months. I feel like Crash Davis telling the hitter that the duece was coming.

A little too much Guitar Hero for Joel Zumaya, huh? Sure...

You would think he wouldn't really have time to be addicted to a game.

I didn't know you could still use joysticks to play video games - didn't those phase out with Atari?

Oh, there's more than that. We also have his tattoo, and his defensive "skills" to make fun of. There's probably a lot more, and definately a lot more reasons to hate the guy.

Oblong:

I don't have a few minutes right now, but:

(a) Zumaya gives us plenty of ammo just by being Zumaya, and
(b) I for one think that "putting up with" you is not all that hard. You bring a lot to the discussions.

Yes, who can forget this "gem" (http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=1393385&postcount=205)...

 You're not a troll, Oblong, but I'm not letting you forget that one.

Oh, it was a "joystick" all right. At least that's what he calls it.

Atari was certainly the last system that used joysticks as the default controller, but they are still available for the newer systems as well. Certainly for many PC games.

Anyone else think we should have "Guitar Hero's" night when we face the Tigers next year? Invite some of the greatest guitar players in history still alive and then see if Zumaya would be a sport and join them?:D:

Also to sort of hijack, going with the gf to visit her family up in Michigan this weekend... She has a cousin that's a huge Tiger fan I guess... I was thinkin about inviting him to play catch, and then proceed to throw the ball about 10 feet over his head 4-5 times and remark that that is how its done in Michigan... LOL

I'm sure it was Guitar Hero that caused forearm stiffness, not the 101-102 mph fastballs.

He had stiffness during the season

then he stopped playing Guitar Hero

and it went away

Thus, Guitar Hero caused the stiffness

Good thinking... Tigers > Plato

You should have seen his myspace page before he made the big league club.
