Which is why giving him up doesn't make a lot of sense, unless somebody gives you the farm and established talent.

Hmmm, that will equate to $1 million a win for him in 2007.

Supposedly the Royals, who released him a few years back, drove up the price. I guess this is SEA revenge for them taking Meche.

I remember very vividly when the Royals had Jose Rosado, Suppan, Miguel Batista and Mac Suzuki (the M's phenom) in their rotation...
