Even though this is 5 days old, I just found this article, and I'm quite suprised that nobody created a thread on this. The Hawk is actually one of the ten finalists for the Ford Frick award! He was one of the three fan selections! Even though I know he won't get in (I think it will be either Dave Niehaus or Joe Nuxhall), I'm glad he's getting some sort of recognition. I know there are people who don't like the Hawk, but count me in as one who does! Thanks, and Go Sox!
