The writer is Aaron Gleeman, one of the biggest Twins fans there are.

He's pretty complimentary to the Sox on the trade.

Thanks for the link. Excellent points about Freddy and he didn't even mention the lousy attitude. Probably get better perspective from writers outside of Chicago.

I thought he made one point from a Philly perspective that was interesting. They will be able to let Freddy walk at the end of the year and get a high draft pick out of it.

From the Philly perspective they lose a a prospect that they soured on but can replace him with another top pick in 2008. They probably feel they only lose Gio.
