Wow--sarcasm on whitesox.com:
There doesn't seem to by any doubt that Joe Crede will begin the season at Charlotte, even though he's off to an 8-for-16 start so far this spring. There doesn't seem to by any doubt that Joe Crede will begin the season at Charlotte, even though he's off to an 8-for-16 start so far this spring.
Seemingly the Sox's third baseman of the future since the early 60's , Crede understands there just isn't a spot for him on the roster. Jose Valentin is the everyday third baseman and White Sox manager Jerry Manuel doesn't want to move Crede around like he did last year when he also played shortstop and center field.
