You know what they say about teams that struggle in exhibtion games. They kick ass in the regular season. At least I hope this is true.

If you look at it, our pitching is to blame, and a lot of the problem has been with pitchers who won't make the team (Almonte yesterday, Ginter today)

Actually, Ginter didn't do horribly - only one guy got a hard hit off of him (Fullmer's double to lead off the 6th) and he dealt with the jam he was in pretty well. He struck out a pair, as well...

:rocked

"Look at me, I can pitch with my sideburns...oops, I got rocked again..."

i think biddle's career is really in jeapordy...very slow recovery doesnt bode well for him..and its his 2nd major operation...

mike porzio should be our lefty out of the pen...he has hung around now for 10 years..he work hard with the sox roving pitching instructor and found some extra life on his fastball and developed a better change...he led all winter league pitchers this year with 7 wins..and is unscored on this spring...what else does the guy have to do????

I'm going to shoot my computer out of a cannon soon. I keep on loosing the connection, which is not a good thing to happen since it looks like we might have a comeback here.

Yeah, I know, I'm just kidding with ya guys, I just want Nardi fired... :D:

Yeah, oh well, what can you do, at least we have the problem/benefit of having too many good outfielders to decide from...unlike some teams who don't even have one... :D:

CRAP...DOUBLE PLAY...if it wasn't for Super Mario, we would have lost by now...wonder who's pitching in the bottom of the 9th...I think it'll be Brian West...

Thanks, I knew I was wrong...hey, he did pretty good, maybe he can be the Gary Glover/Mark Buehrle of last year (and surprise everyone), but more like Glover and make the team as a reliever instead...you think he'll get the chance???

Well I missed this one, but a tie is better then a loss. I'll have to read the whole thread now. I love this official game thread. Is this done during the season too? or is everyone in the chat room?
