Favorite 2nd baseman period, Japanese or not. That game against the Astros this year is still the game I probably think about the most from last year, despite the loss. Gotta be the best game EVER by a palehose 2nd baseman.

Good to know this guy is here to stay (we hope). He is the bomb. From the game against the 'Stros, the gravity-defying play against the Jays, and that home run against the Red Sox in game 2 was incredible.

I remember that game. I nearly had a heart attack when he hit it; i was running through my house screaming! Awwww......Those were the days. Now all's we have to look forward to now is another trade rumor involving Chone Figgins (dare i say figgy?)..:(:

That was the one playoff game I scored a ticket to, and it just happened to be one of Terry Francona's seats behind home plate...I was seated next to a Red Sox employee with an '04 World Series ring, and right behind Mrs. Schilling. I [accidentally] stepped on the guy's foot when Tad hit the homer. What an incredible day that was...

Happy birthday Gooch! Remember when you made Hawk crap his pants this year when you decided not to score from second on a hit from Dye that went to the fence and just stood between 3rd and home? Ahhh the good times. I believe it was in Anaheim in September. I was just thinking about that the other day laughing.:gulp:
