Lost in all the hoopla, Woody Williams to the Astros for $12.5 million over 2 seasons, with club option for third year at $6.5 million.

That's the kind of guy the Cubs should have gone after.

I think they'll pay a lot more for Lilly, Wolf, Padilla, the Japanese guy that's left or Gil Meche.

Ooops, should say first "somewhat" decent pitching contract.

Yes that is very reasonable. Compared to these outfielder's contracts it is almost a steal. Good for the Astros after that ridiculous Lee contract.
