Listen to the game here (http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/audio/mlb_gameday_audio.jsp)

Looks like we have the official MLB broadcast today. Craig Elsten and Brian McRae have the call.

Sox starting lineup for today is

Harris- CF
Durham- 2B
Thomas- DH
Ordonez- RF
Lee- LF
Liefer- 1B
Crede- 3B
Hummel- SS
MJ- C

Danny Wright is on the mound and had a 1-2-3 1st inning with 1K.
Paul Rigdon is pitching for the Brewers.

BTW this broadcast sucks. I keep hearing a buzzing sound. It sounds like there are prop planes flying over them constantly.

The Brewers get on the board first with a sac fly to score a run.

Matt Stairs drives in a run to make it 2-0 Brewers. Wright pitched good the first 2 innings but may be tiring early. He is being yanked now for Lorenzo Barcelo.

If one of those two could play short on an everday basis, our long-term problems at that position would be solved.

I can't believe some of the BS he talked about Fogg and Lowe not fitting into the bullpen  ...yeah, right, we sure could use them right now with all these rehabbing pitchers...

Maybe not fogg, but Sean could help about now, but I don't think he wanted to be a reliever from what I have been told on these boards. Too bad. He was great for this team as a reliever.

The thing about Lowe was he SUCKED as a starter and was GREAT as a reliever...so I don' t think he was in a position to NOT want to be a reliever...just do your job and then you'll get rewarded... :whiner:

Oh and one more thing, why could Fogg not have helped the bullpen, I mean at least his arm is healthy...that's a lot to say considering how our other pitchers are...I mean the only "real healthy" reliever we have is Foulke, so who could do worse than Fogg, I mean Ginter should have been traded, cuz he just totally sucks the big one...

I mean come on, though, could he be possibly be worse than Ginter???
Heck, I think Fogg did good in the few outings he had last year (I believe he had a 1.50 ERA) and while Ginter has experience and yet has a career ERA of 6.80...I just think Fogg would have had a better chance of making the roster, even if it was as a reliever...
This in turn would help me be more confident in the pitching staff/starters/relievers, because right now, from the sounds of it, things are not looking too good for our pitching staff... :?:

Anyone is better then Ginter. lol I was upset to see Fogg and Lowe go, but I think Ritchie will work out well. I don't miss Kip at all. They had to give up someone to get ritchie. I'm just glad they have someone beside Kip or Sean to start.

But, if we can take anything from this, if it weren't for Almonte exploding into a big sack o' crap on the mound in the 8th or 9th, we would have won this thing.

So since my great and wonderful internet service, AT&T Broadband decided to reduce my connection to a trickle I couldn't access any sites or listen to the game after the 3rd inning. I was wondering what Kenny Williams talked about. I sent the announcers a question about the whole Royce/Crede situation and was wondering if they announcers actually bothered to ask him about that. Can anyone recap what he said?
