With a new federal grand jury now in place and his appeal turned down, Greg Anderson, personal trainer and alleged BALCO peddler for Barry Bonds, will go back to jail for refusing to testify.

Maybe a full year at the greybar hotel will change his mind.

My guess, there's more than a "friendship" at stake here..... coughmoneycough.... And Greg will never say a word.

Bonds & associates must pay him ALOT. No amount of money would make me want to do jailtime. I'm sure he's had a tremendous offer on the table from the prosecutors

B & A do have a lot of money.

Especially when you consider they dont pay taxes.:redneck

I wouldnt think Greg is going to a max security prison, and I understand there are very few if any true white collar prisons anymore, but if the price is right, Id do 12 months easy.

Also, about "wanting" to do jail time. I dont think it's about wanting to do the time. Everyone has their price, and Ill just throw this out there, Barry has made $173 million playing baseball and with endorsements etc. that figure goes up even more. Then you still have to factor in all the money the other parties of interest have.

Which means BB couldn't very well give him a huge sum of money without it being traceable.

This is not completely true. Just last semester I took a course on business ethics, and our professor told us there are numerous countries that have untraceable anonymous bank accounts.

He especially went over Swiss Bank Accounts and how over the last ten years, they have basically lost all of their secrecy and assured confidentiality. He pointed out that there are much safer, and completely private banks worldwide. If I remember correctly he said Singapore is the most popular and keeps information definitely private.

I don't get that. If they are paying him, how does he spend it? The Feds will be watching him closely. And the second he spends it, he goes back for tax evasion.
