Just wondering when everyone thought we could hear something out of the GM meetings going on this week? Midweek? The weekend?

I'll head down to the baggage claim area in the airport and see if I can eavesdrop on any of KW's cellphone conversations.

I'll let you know what I find out.

The wait is over.

Dye, Buerhle and Iguchi had their options picked up.

KW signed that guy for the outfield (forgot his name, Luis Terraro or something like that).

Are you expecting any other moves?

this offseason has been so boring...ive resorted to watching the african waterhole cam (no teal necessary) waiting for the sox to do something!

Don't worry my cousin is at the hotel where the GM meetings are and is following Kenny on his cell phone. :D:

If it stays like this the Sox will be in good shape for next year.

KW is the best. You just can't predict what he will do. He may establish a new deal pattern this off-season. Wednesdays were for last year. A new "favorite" day will emerge, or maybe he'll make deals whenever the moment is right for him.

However, IMO only a few deals need to be made. I still think the White Sox have a pretty good roster for 2007.

Article in the Herald today talking about trading a starter. Kenny's quoted as not being blown away by any offers and just because he has 6 starters doesn't mean he has to give one away..so it seems other teams are thinking. Maybe someone will get a little more desperate as the FAs drift away, but as of now, it doesn't sound like he's near any kind of deal any time soon. We'll see.
