Not that I would totally dismiss giving a shot to a middle reliever coming off a bad year, but the White Sox have/had pitchers of their own that the team is looking to replace, although they didn't look too bad in 2005.

Tanyon Sturtze sucked when he was with the Sox, he has changed teams, but he still sucks.
