They're working on the old Walgreens on what, State and Randolph, and a crane there has a big Sox hat on it's roof/hood.

Ha. If I saw that one coming I would walk over to the cars that had the Sox logos on it. I've also seen people walk away from those cars and walk in the normal ones. :rolling: I loooooove the White Sox!!!!:supernana:

I was actually on that train on 10/26/06. It was kind of ironic.

What you failed to mention is what famous building is in this picture: The Blommer Chocolate Factory. Anyone who lives in the West Loop or River North area knows about the Blommer smell.

Amen to that. My office is at Jefferson and Fulton, so I know what you're talking about.

I see Sox pride all over town. People wearing hats, sweats, etc everywhere. At the Bears' game last Sunday saw over two dozen people with Sox clothing (including hats) on while only two had Cubs stuff.

The street sweeper that cleans the streets in my neighborhood has a big Sox logo on its front, is painted in the pinstripes of the home white jersey, and has a few good slogans printed on it:

"GO SOX GO!"
"YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD!"
"2005 World Series Champs!"

I've seen that street sweeper many times, since I used to spend much more time in Bridgeport than I do now (offseason time, that is). Sometimes, I used to give the operater a thumps up, and he would smile and return the gesture, PRIOR TO THE 2005 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP.

SOX PRIDE NOTE: I viewed the 05 DVD last night, and savored every bit of it!

Didn't get any pix, but it was GREAT to see so much Sox pride all around the city during my visit a couple of weeks back. Don't ever remember seeing so much when I lived there 20+ years back.
