JD hit a two run job to lead the MLB stars to a 3-2 win over the Japanese all-stars.

Thanks for the update, Farm! That is indeed great news, but when I saw the title of this thread, I thought that there was a a baseball survey of some sort going on in Japan.

Check ESPN tonight. They had highlights from the first game. Andruw Jones had two opposite field BOMBS.

I loved JD's comments about his homer. "I really got a hold of that one... he hung me a slider..."

Can't wait to see the highlights!

Who was the pitcher? Was it that guy everyone is hot for?

No, it was a leftie pitcher. Why on earth the Japanese manager let a lefthanded pitcher face Dye is beyond me. JD hit for some insane average against lefties this year.. like 370 or so.

Here's the link to the video highlights from today's game:

Just watched the clip. Dye's shot was an absolute BOMB... concourse shot for sure!

While this is good for the US team, I'd rather have him save the HR's for the 2007 season and not get hurt.

Are any of these games broadcasted on TV here?

JD had another single and rbi in game two. Iguchi, playing for the MLB All-Stars, also doubled and drove in two.
