Yes. There's like 20 minutes left on the bidding.

They were a nice gift for the season ticket holders. But I wouldn't spend that much on one.

The smaller ones they gave out on April 5th arn't even worth a penny.

Items are only worth whatever amount you can get somebody to pay for it.

Those replica trophies are going for $80 and up.

$100 bucks!!!!!:o: :o: Hell, I had my son pick ours up one night we were there and since he lugged it back to the car I told him he could keep it. It now resides in his room, box is gone, and at least one flag has been broken off.:whiner:

FYI: there are two other 9" season ticket holder trophies on ebay, they are up to $26 and $51. They both have a few days left on the auctions.

I have one, and I dont think its worth 100 bucks. Its mostly plastic but does look nice.

IMHO I wouldnt pay more then 30 bucks for it. But if you can afford it, go ahead.

It really depends on what it means to you and where you are going to put it. My parents basically turned their family room into a shrine to the Sox, so it sits in a place of honor, underneath to of the Tribune engraving plates from the day we won the ALCS & the World Series. And it that setting, I think it is worth the money.

But if you really don't have a specific place for it, I think it might be a waste.

The best part is the World Series team autographed jersey my father got as a gift. And I made a shadow box for the room with the programs from the ALDS, ALCS and WS, with the tickets from each round and a pennant. It is pretty fabulous, if I do say so myself. (My father finally felt his got something for the money he invested in my undergraduate art degree).

But that is why the trophy looks so great in the room. It was like the cherry on top.

You should consider getting your own split season plan, if they're still available. We got some goodies (including the trophy and the media guide) but the rest we picked up at the ballpark (pink cap, green cap, rally sock, etc.)

I thought about selling mine a while ago, thinking wow $100 would be nice. But if you think about it...give that a few years, it'll then be unavailable for purchase (if it ever was?) and more rare. Either that or keep it yourself. :)

I don't really like the they gave to us. Somebody bought me a better looking, smaller one from The Grandstand.

i went to that game and got me 3 of those trophies. on my way out of the stadium some guy begged me to sell him one. he offered me $40. i wasnt going to get rid of it but he said it was for his son and blah blah blah, so i gave it to him.

then i put one on ebay and it went for about $100+.

the third one is safely wrapped in it's box at home and it ain't going anywhere.

Yes, 31 flags. It's a very well done replica. It even feels heavy, not like a cheap plastic one. It looks like it's made of metal, except for the flags - which are plastic.

The person who bought it has zero feedback and just signed up for Ebay on October 29. What will be unreal is if Henry actually gets paid.
