Ouch! (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2608613) He will be out 8 months.

That's a shame. IMO, no one is more fun to watch pitch than Pedro.

The moment I picked him with the fourth overall selection in my draft this year, his fate was sealed.

Sorry, Pedro.

This could be a career ender, sadly.

Pedro was always a joy to watch...you wonder if he'll be able to come back from this. It's a shame.

Well, it might be the injury that enables KW to deal one of our starters and get some young pitching back in returning....Heileman, Maine, Pelfrey, etc.

I really don't see Pelfrey going anywhere.

On that note, wasn't his shoulder the reason that Boston and the Yankees shyed away from giving him 4 years?
Hope he comes back to the same level.

Wow, that sucks for Pedro and for baseball. A dream scenario would be Pedro pitching against the Yankees in the World Series. I wish the Mets well in the playoffs, but their fortunes have just dimmed.
