The Cardinals still have 4 games to play, 3 which are mandatory.
Cards vs. mil for three then the make up with SF

Houstons at Atlanta for three

and Cinncinatti is at Pitt.

Cinncinatti's only chance is to sweep Pitt, and have both Houston and STL get swept or win one game a piece or a combo.

I would like to see Houston win simply because I think the St. Louis collapse is comical.

It really does not matter, the NL Central team will be destroyed in the NLDS.

I respectfully disagree. If the team is the Cards or the Reds, yes the Padres will annialate(sp?) them. But if the 'stros win it which I think they will they are going to do some damage. I would not be shocked if they won the pennant again. They have the experience, they have the clutch hitting, they have the pitching, and they're hot. Timing is everything.

A Braves fan at work however thinks that the Braves will rise up and knock the streaking 'stros out of it.

Obviously Houston is coming on, but you gotta like the Card's chances simply because they're home vs the Brewers and Houston's at Atlanta. Having said that, I'd put money on St Louis winning it, but not much. Houston's playing scary.

I would love to see the Astros make it, because of the way they are playing, they could easily make it back to the World Series. And they might be the only NL team with a outside chance at beating an AL team. (the mets fate was sealed with pedro being out.)
