1. If the Sox were in the NL Central, they'd be 6.5 games in first place with only 6 left for St. Louis.

Probably they'd be even more games ahead since the NL is putrid

If the Sox were in the NL central they would easily have 100 wins by now no doubt in my mind.

We would be undefeatedWell, assuming the Cubs would be in the AL Central instead...161-1, since the Sox did lose one to Pittsburgh...

Who cares?

If our pitching didn't suck, we'd be in first place in the AL Central.

They're not so it doesn't matter. If the Tigers and the Twins were in the NL Central they'd still be in 3rd place.

Tip of the cap. Phrase right out of my mouth as I was reading down the thread.

If the Sox were in the NL central they would easily have 100 wins by now no doubt in my mind.

They had trouble with KC, CLE, and PIT this year, and had to rally against HOU. They've had trouble with FLA and AZ the last couple years too, so what makes you think they would have walked over any of them so easilly with the way they've played since July?

This would be a dream come true for the Anderson fan; he'd no longer have the lowest batting average on the team.

Yes, the mighty Houston Astros get to be in the thick of the pennant race by being only 1 game over .500. The NL is a joke.

Yeah they probably would've clinched the division by August 1st.

Too bad interleague play has exposed how bad the NL is. It doesn't really make the WS worth watching. Another patented bonehead decision by Selig.
