The Phillies by sweeping the Marlins have put themselves in great shape to win the NL wild card

A Philly columnist thinks it is over already

Oh, yeah, sure, they haven't, you know, like actually clinched anything yet. After yesterday's 10-7 win over the Marlins at Citizens Bank Park, they're a half-game ahead of Los Angeles and a game behind San Diego.
The race isn't as close as the standings indicate, though.
Really, the only real question left is who they will be playing when the Division Series begins next week.

Obviously wherever Aaron roams CF, a championship is guarenteed.

I work with a big Phillies fan who says trading Abreu improved the hitting by creating an atmosphere where Utley and Howard could blossom. I've never seen him optimistic before. I've never seen any Phillies fan optimistic before.

I know what you mean. I've been talking to all my old roomates from Philly about the team and I haven't seen them this excited about a team of theirs since those glorious Eagles choke years.

I want the Phillies to make it so I can be amused by all the back and forth Aaron love/ Aaron bashing here that is sure to ensue
